About VRelax

VRelax stands for a proven new approach to stress, burnout and depression. We want to help mental health institutions with a scientifically validated Virtual Reality app, which has been specially developed for people with mental complaints. Scientific studies show that VRelax very quickly reduces stress, burnout, anxiety and depression. In addition, VRelax is used as a good distraction tool for acute pain and physical discomfort.

VRelax is a young and innovative company based in Groningen. We believe in the power of Virtual Reality as a means of stress and pain management. Our team consists of passionate and enthusiastic professionals from healthcare, tech and creative industries. We work intensively with research partners in healthcare and education. With our 200+ customers in healthcare, we are the largest VR partner for mental health care in the Netherlands.

Who are you?

  • You are enterprising, energetic and ambitious and think in possibilities
  • You are social, a team player and enjoy finding and retaining customers
  • You are a self-starter who feels responsible for output-driven targets
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • You have experience with acquisition, sales and are an expert in closing deals
  • You have experience in or affinity with healthcare or working with VR applications

The function

As part of the Sales team you are the face of VRelax. You create value by finding the right fit between VRelax as a smart technological solution and the customer's specific needs. That's where you make the difference! You will be responsible for promoting our groundbreaking VR software and content. With a sales-oriented and proactive attitude you build new relationships within mental health care. You do this through your own acquisition, events, presentations, webinars, product demos and workshops. Enthusiasm and inspiration are the success factors.

You will also work with the Customer Success team to further develop our existing relationships. You will learn from us everything you need to know about the power of VR and the science behind VRelax to really make an impact with customers. You will make a positive contribution to people's well-being in a special and innovative way.

What are you going to do?

  •  You go out to attract new customers and build a sustainable network within mental health care and other branches within healthcare
  • You create your own sales plans, implement them and monitor progress
  • You provide events, presentations, webinars and workshops, independently or in a team, where you inspire participants with use cases of VRelax users
  • You develop and convert leads into long-term collaboration partners and look for up-selling/cross-selling opportunities with existing customers
  • You analyze successes and failure factors to further improve our proposition
  • You work closely with experienced Sales, Marketing and Customer Success colleagues
