VRelax receives support from the SNN with the help of a subsidy for the following activity(ies):
Many clients use VR therapy independently. Precisely at crucial moments, as a therapist, you want to be able to reassure, give instructions, or make adjustments. Therefore, we are developing a proof-of-concept that demonstrates the technical feasibility of direct voice communication from therapist to client during a VR session.
What does this yield?
• More dynamic guidance during sessions (including remotely) and higher therapeutic value
• Insight into technical bottlenecks as a basis for further development towards a fully-fledged position
• Spatial audio integration together with Sphere of Sound
Subsidy received: €36.135
